ANHEUSER-BUSCH MERRIMACK BREWERY HOSTS CLYDESDALE CAMERA DAY AND SHOW N’ SHINE CAR SHOW

MERRIMACK, N.H. (July 21, 2008) – Street rod fans and horse lovers alike will delight for a weekend of fun at the Anheuser-Busch brewery in Merrimack. On Saturday, Aug. 2 between 1 and 3 p.m., guests may bring their cameras to take photos with a world-famous Budweiser Clydesdale. Then, hundreds of classic, dragster and muscle cars will be on display for the 35th Annual Show N’ Shine Car Show, held on Sunday, Aug. 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In past years, more than 5,000 people have visited the very popular show where hundreds of cars were exhibited. The event is presented by the New Hampshire Street Rod Association and benefits Make-A-Wish® Foundation in New Hampshire.

“We enjoy sharing our beautiful grounds with several local organizations to host charitable events,” said John Mills, plant manager, Anheuser-Busch Merrimack brewery. “This event is especially gratifying because the funds raised grant the wishes of some very special children who live in our area.”

While visiting the show and taking photos with a Clydesdale, guests also may take a free tour of the Anheuser-Busch Merrimack brewery and learn how beer is brewed. Daily tours are conducted 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. After the tour, guests who are 21 years of age or older may sample Anheuser-Busch premium beers and visit the Clydesdale Hamlet – the Northeastern home of the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales. Gift Shop hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Clydesdale Camera Day is held between 1 and 3 p.m., the first Saturday of each month. Guests are encouraged to bring their cameras to take video or pictures with a world-famous Budweiser Clydesdale. Remaining Budweiser Clydesdale Camera Days for 2008 are: Aug. 2, Sept. 6, Oct. 4, Nov. 1 and Dec. 6.
