Anheuser-Busch operates one of 12 breweries in its nationwide system in Colorado. The Fort Collins brewery went into production in 1988 and has the capacity to produce 6 million barrels of beer annually. Some 87,000 tourists visit the Fort Collins brewery each year to see how Anheuser-Busch products are made. Following a free tour, guests of legal drinking age are invited to enjoy complimentary tastings of Anheuser-Busch products. A retail store also offers a selection of Anheuser-Busch merchandise.
